First Day in Dublin

We arrived in Dublin this morning a bit bleary eyed,but all well. There we met Mark Randal, our tour guide and Martina, our driver (both lovely people.) We headed to the hotel to check in and wash up then took the coach into the city center. There we walked to Meeting House Square to hear some readings from Joyce's Ulysses and then had lunch at a nearby pub, Farrington's in Temple Bar. Finally we took a short walking tour led by a gentleman in period costume from the James Joyce Center. Dinner back at the hotel just now and time for a good night's rest.
